Hello My Name Is...Loretta Woods
Dear Parents,
Welcome to Warford Elementary and a warm welcome to Room 1. My name is Loretta Woods and I have been in the district about eight (8) years.
I have an Associates Degree from Penn Valley Community College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Minor in Child Psychology from Southwest Baptist University and a Master’s Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in Behavior Disorders from UMKC.
We have a very structured program in Room 1. This program will provide the students with a level consistency that will ensure that they are aware of “what’s next”. The Paraprofessional and I provide a classroom environment of positive reinforcement and direction.
The Paraprofessional, Mrs. Paula Dampier is a degree holder as well. She has had many years of experience working with children.

Classroom Rules and Procedures
Room 1
1. Early arrivals (9:00 - 9:15) – may play or read
2. Circle time – participation required
3. Morning work – has to be completed first
4. Walking in the halls – hands, eyes, voices
5. Daily schedule – early release v full day
6. Homework – goes home in folder, returned the next day, completed.
7. Daily folder – sent home every afternoon and has to be signed by parent or guardian daily.
8. Restroom – the class goes together and after specials and recess.
9. Lunch choices – sack or school
10. Lunch number – will be put in at cashier’s desk.
11. Pencil sharpener – ask permission
12. Behavior – respect, hands, words, time-out, call to parent, referral to Principal.
